Opening Doors towards Your Goals

Accomplishments come together in different ways.  Keep an open mind of trying new things or new ways of doing things.  You never know when one door may fly wide open and another door will slam shut.  Sometimes the direction we think we should be going isn’t the correct road to be traveling.  Be open to new adventures and see where it takes you!  You may be surprised at what you will accomplish.

Do Over

Are there things in our lives we wish we could do over?  I am sure all of us have things we wish we could “do over”.

  • Tell someone we hurt “sorry”.
  • Wish we didn’t say something and could take back those awful words.
  • Walking away from a bad situation instead of staying.
  • Running away from temptation instead of acting on it.
  • Listening to gossip and being part of the conversation.

How do we let go and move on?  We can’t continue to live in the past.  The past is gone, however we can change the things which are really bothering us by taking action, reaching out and fixing it.  Telling the person we hurt “sorry”.  If no longer in contact write a letter and don’t send it or say the words to ourselves to let it go.  Forgive and release it.  Using these techniques as the “do over” will provide peaceful thoughts and a happier life.

Setting an INTENTION

What is an intention?  The definition of an intention is:

  1. an act or instance of determining mentally upon some action or result.
  2. the end or object intended; purpose.

 

Setting an intention.  How is this done?  Does this really work?  That is a good question.  I believe it truly belongs to the individual making the intention.  If it is something the person really wants and desires they will do whatever it takes to make it happen.  This may include getting the support they need as well as the knowledge to make it into a reality.  They may hire a coach and/or find a mentor to assist them in the process of achieving their intention.  What do you think?

Connecting with Others

Connecting to Others

I hear some say there seems to be a trend happening of people lacking a connection to others. More and more people appear to becoming distance, isolated and lonely. What is the explanation for this trend? Why might this be happening? It makes me wonder how many people truly feel they have no connection with anyone and are alone. How can we change this trend? What are the benefits of changing it? It would be great, if everyone had at least one person they could call a friend. I think the world would be a much happier place. What do you think? ~ Patti

Finishing the things we procrastinated about!

There are many things in our lives which are important. There are things that really need to get completed and sometimes we keep putting them off because they may be time consuming, hard to do physically, or we just don’t know where to start. Procrastination is not good for us and is not a friend. In fact, it causes stress and anxiety.

Every day I begin my day with the things that are hard, difficult or I really don’t want to do but are a must. By doing this step I can move forward on to more enjoyable tasks. There are really no words to explain the feeling of gratification when you finally finish something you have been putting off.  ~ Patti

Patience equals Rewards
