This poem has a lot of meaning to me. I look at the words and some inspire me and some are hard to live by. Laughing is good and we all should do more of it. Some of us get so focus we forget to laugh, kiss slowly, play hard, take chances and give everything to these precious moments of life.
A few of these words I sometimes struggle with ~ apologizing when you should, forgive quickly and no regrets. Yes, I am usually very quick to apologize when I am in the wrong. What I struggle with is apologizing to someone who has hurt you time and time again and feels you should apologize because they are too stubborn to apologize themselves. The question I ponder is “When is the line crossed to not make amends?” When you do not apologize, does this mean you haven’t forgiven quickly? Probably. How do you forgive quickly and move on?
Living life with no regrets. I truly want this in my life and I am working towards it daily. There are somethings I wish I could have change in my life, but I have accepted I can’t go back and change them. So it is time to let go of it and move on. This poem has great words to live by and I am going to do my best to remember them in my daily walk. How about you? I have somethings to work on, as we all probably do.
