My challenge for you this month is every day to reflect and write down “What are you thankful for today?

You can use a journal, or your phone, IPAD, computer, a plain notebook or commenting on this blog daily.  Choose a time to journal every day it can be before you go to bed or when you get up in the morning or on your lunch hour and write or type what you are thankful for that day.  For each day reflect and see if this changes your perception of your life.  I would really enjoy seeing what you are thankful for each day this month so please share what you are thankful for as well as your reflection.

  1. I love challenges like this.

Today I am grateful for having a day to spend on doing whatever I want to do. I had no obligations, no where I had to be, and nothing I had to do. I spent all day just focusing on me.

Side note, have you ever read the book “The Magic” by Rhonda Byrne? It is a 28 day gratitude challenge book with daily assignments. It is amazing. I highly recommend it to everyone : )

I am also grateful for stumbling upon your blog today. Thank you!

  2. Hi,
    Kristin
Thank you so much for responding and taking the challenge. I have not read the book “The Magic” by Rhonda Byrne yet but I will definitely check it out. It sounds very interesting. Thank you for sharing and the recommendation. I look forward to seeing your comments on “What you are thankful for”.

  11. November 24, 2013 – What am I thankful for today? Today I am thankful I had a chance to go to the Butterfly Wonderful in Scottsdale, AZ. The atrium was full of all kinds of butterflies and plants that attract butterflies.

  12. November 25, 2013 – What am I thankful for today? Today I am thankful I received a beautiful letter and a Starbuck gift card from an anonymous person or people. The letter stated: A random act of kindness is a selfless act performed by a person or people wishing to either assist or cheer up an individual person or people. The phase may have been coined by Anne Herbert, who says that she wrote “Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty” on a place mat a Sausalito restaurant in 1982 or 1983.

This random act of kindness is to show that you are appreciated every day. To know that you are professional and knowledgeable always makes it pleasure to work with you. Although seldom told, you are not forgotten for your contribution to the department and are truly an important member of this team and does not go without notice! And remember– “The best way to predict your future is to create it” – Abraham Lincoln – Thanks!
